What is Set?
Set is a booking platform for independent beauty and wellness professionals. Clients discover pros, book appointments, and pay in one place.
How do I book an appointment?
Open a professional's profile, choose a service and an available time, and confirm your booking. You receive a confirmation right away.
How do payments work?
Each service sets its own payment option: pay in person, pay in full up front, or pay a deposit. You see what is due before confirming.
What is a deposit, and when do I pay the rest?
Some professionals ask for a deposit to hold an appointment. The remaining balance is collected according to the service's payment terms.
Is my payment information secure?
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on Set's servers.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Cancellation and refund terms are set by each professional and shown when you book. Contact the professional if you need to cancel.
What does it cost professionals to use Set?
Set charges 0% commission on bookings. Professionals only pay standard Stripe payment-processing fees on payments collected through the platform.
How do I become a professional on Set?
Sign up as a business, add services and availability, and connect payouts through Stripe's secure onboarding.
How do I get help?
Email support@set-booking.com for help with bookings, payments, or your account.
How does pricing work for professionals?
Set uses activity-based billing. The $9.99 base subscription is charged only for billing periods with qualifying bookings.
